Jennifer Wells has worked as both a feature writer and a columnist for The Globe and Mail, the Toronto Star and Maclean’s magazine.
Her investigations have spanned the globe, from India, to Peru, to Haiti, to the Democratic Republic of the Congo. A multiple finalist for the National Newspaper Awards, she is a two-time winner for individual work and twice shared in the group award for Project of the Year. Her magazine writing garnered gold awards in business and public policy. She is the author of two books. Fever: The Dark Mystery of the Bre-X Gold Rush was named winner of the National Business Book Award.
A native of Winnipeg, Jennifer graduated from York University (history), Ryerson University (journalism), and the University of British Columbia with a master of fine arts in creative writing.
